12 Mar 2009 2:00pm - 4:00pm CRASSH, 17 Mill Lane

Description

Speaker: Mike Pearson (Aberystwyth)

Mike Pearson reflects upon a series of multi-site performances created since 2001 in Cardiff that include the use of low-grade technology and within which documentation is repositioned in the schedule and matrix of the dramaturgy.  Such performances problematise 'liveness' as a defining notion of performance and architectronic approaches to site-specificity.

Part of the Intermedia Research Group series of seminars.

Meetings are usually held on alternate Thursdays  during term-time, 2pm to 4.00pm at CRASSH.

All welcome.  No registration required.
