16 Oct 2008 12:00pm - 2:00pm CRASSH, 17 Mill Lane

Description

The reading will be around 50 pages, roughly equivalent to one long book chapter or a couple of short scholarly articles.

For the first meeting, we suggest looking at the Introduction in the Doleželová-Velingerová and Král volume (pp. 1-27), as well as Stephen Owen's essay “The End of the Past: Rewriting Chinese Literary History in the Early Republic” (pp. 167-192).

Please contact Leon Rocha, for a reading pack.
