The Science and Democracy Network (SDN) enhances the quality and significance of scholarship in science and technology studies (S&TS) by training young professionals and by forging links between S&TS and related fields of study and practice.
The SDN sponsors an annual workshop whose primary goal is to strengthen and deepen scholarship in science and technology studies on science and democracy, and to provide training opportunities for young S&TS scholars to enable them to participate more effectively in decision processes and public affairs.
The sixth Annual Meeting of the SDN will take place at the University of Cambridge on 27-29 June 2007 and will be jointly sponsored by CRASSH.
