André is a PhD candidate in the Sociology Department at the University of Cambridge. His research explores the role of social media in contemporary Brazilian politics, with an empirical focus on the mandates of elected deputies who are most prominent on social media, their legislative practices, and the informational processes upon which they rely. André hold a Bachelor of Science in Social Communication from ESPM (Brazil) and an MPhil in Sociology from the University of Cambridge.
