Professor Ove Granstrand  (Chalmers University)

 

Prof Ove Granstrand is Professor in Industrial Management and Economics at Chalmers University, Sweden. He is the editor of “Economics, Law and Intellectual Property” and a Leverhulme visiting scholar at the Institute for Manufacturing for academic year 2018-19. Prof Granstrand has published extensively on Scientific work and technological progress now depend largely on questions of who owns what, as do the success and profits of countless authors, artists, inventors, researchers and industrialists. Economic, legal and ethical issues play a central role in the increasingly complex balance between unilateral gains and universal benefits from the “knowledge society”.
