Dr Zoe Svendsen (Director of METIS. Honorary Research Fellow, Birkbeck Centre for Contemporary Theatre)www.metissarts.co.uk
This final session looks at the possibilities that can be offered by activist theatre to our responses to climate change. Our speaker is Dr Zoe Svendsen who is the Director of METIS, a performing arts company that creates interdisciplinary performance projects in a range of media. Dr Svendsen will be speaking on their latest, award-winning production 3rd Ring Out. This interactive performance asks the audience to respond to potential scenarios we might confront in a climate-changed future – responses which drive the way the play unfolds.
