26 Oct 2011 5:00pm - 7:00pm CRASSH

Description

A
scheduling conflict has led to a small change in our MT programme. The
originally scheduled 26 OCTOBER session has now been CANCELLED.

At the upcoming first meeting on 12 OCTOBER, in addition to the planned reading discussion, Brigadier Andrew Sharpe, Head
of Land Research, Development, Concepts and
Doctrine Centre, Ministry of Defence, will make a short presentation titled, “The
Trouble
with Strategic Leadership in International Interventions”, based on his
experiences in military service and with multi-national task forces in
peacekeeping operations, especially in the Balkans.
Please join us for
what promises to be a stimulating discussion of the imagined distinction
between civil and military spheres.
