12 Oct 2010 12:30pm - 2:00pm CRASSH seminar room

Description

Having good mentors can be key to successful progress. Some researchers are assigned a mentor, some aren’t. There is no standard practice, so how do you go about forging relationships?

This session aims to cover: What is a mentor; Finding a mentor; What can you ask of a mentor. A panel of senior and junior academics will talk about mentoring and answer your questions.

Organised by CRASSH Postdoctoral Researcher Forum and Careers Service.

Snack lunch provided. Please use the link on the right to book for the session via the Careers Service website (requires Raven login), so that we can provide enough sandwiches.
