Description
A short workshop for postdoctoral researchers in the Arts, Social Sciences and Humanities organised by the Careers Service.
Even in interviews for academic posts, how you say it carries at least as much weight as what you say. This session is a mixture of plenary discussion and small group work and involves practising and observing responses to basic interview questions.
The session enables you to develop techniques of framing answers, and does not test in-depth knowledge of your subject. It is useful for interviews for academic and non-academic posts.
By the end of the session you should be more aware of how you can manage an interview effectively and be a successful candidate.
Booking is essential. Click here to book via the Careers Service website (Raven registration and log-in required).
