The first event of the digital humanities user group will be devoted to introducing members to current and prospective developments in the University's service provision for digital research in the humanities and social sciences. There will be presentations by the following:

John Norman, Director of CARET
Grant Young, Digitisation and Digital Preservation Specialist (UL)
Elin Stangeland, DSpace@Cambridge Repository Manager (UL)

Patricia Killiard, Head of Electronic Services and Systems at the UL, will also be present for discussion.

 

After the presentations and question time, more informal discussion will be continued over refreshments.

 

This event is open to all but please register by emailing and indicating your active interests in digital work and any particular perceived needs. Please also indicate if you would like to join the mailing list.
