Conference summary

An inter-disciplinary conference exploring the relation between natural and socially constructed norms and human action from the standpoint of moral philosophy, intellectual history, legal theory, and political theory.

 
Topics will include natural right and historicity, the idea of legal authority, the contested character of political theology, popular sovereignty and human rights jurisprudence, and eugenics and the law.
