PhD students from  the Faculty of Asian and Middle Eastern Studies in Cambridge will present their research.

Mengyao Xu,  Shanghai International  Settlement and the Shanghai Municipal  Council, paying particular attention to the foreign communities in the city since the end of the nineteenth century.

Chen Li, China in the Korean War and Indochina Wars  from the diplomatic and military perspectives.
