26 Nov 2001 All day Little Hall

Description

Little Hall

Meeting organised by CRASSH (University of Cambridge)
The Organization of Knowledge

Over the next two years the Centre for Research in the Arts, Social Sciences and Humanities will concentrate on a major theme The Organization of Knowledge. While CRASSH will continue during this period to support a wide range of research projects and activities that have no connection with this theme, it wishes in particular to encourage work that relates in some way to it. Conferences, seminars, and workshops on various aspects of the theme are currently being planned. The Centre's Visiting Fellowship programme (due to come into operation in the academic year 2002-3) will be linked exclusively to this theme.

Those wishing to propose possible activities relevant to this theme are encouraged to contact the Director as soon as possible.

There will be an open meeting to discuss the theme on Monday 26th November 2001 at 1.00 pm in Little Hall.
Future themes

At its next meeting on 30 April 2002 CRASSH's Policy Committee will be considering possible themes for future adoption by the Centre, and hoping in particular to determine the theme for adoption from October 2003.
