Description
King's College and the Faculty of Law, Cambridge
Conference sponsored by CRASSH (University of Cambridge), the British Academy
and the King's College Research Centre
The aim of this three-day conference is to re-examine the position of aesthetic theory, judgement and experience in the modern humanities. In recent years, our invited speakers have compellingly addressed this subject in a number of historical and theoretical contexts. Now Aesthetic Positions presents an opportunity to extend and review these interventions. Leading commentators will act as respondents, and this international colloquium will offer an exceptional forum for debate.
Convener:
Dr Stefan Hoesel-Uhlig, King's College, Cambridge
