CRASSH, 17 Mill Lane, Cambridge, CB2 1RX
Workshop sponsored by CRASSH (University of Cambridge)
David Feldman (Birkbeck, University of London & CRASSH Visiting Fellow)
This workshop has two principal aims. The first aim is to make a critical evaluation of the “migration year” at CRASSH. This will encompass an intellectual assessment of particular events or series of events as well as a reflection on the extent to which CRASSH activities managed to engage scholars located elsewhere in the University. The second aim of the workshop is to look forward and chart further directions for research on migration at CRASSH and in Cambridge more widely. This part of the workshop will not only take stock of initiatives already under way but it will also discuss the scope for new ventures in the light of other funding opportunities offered by the AHRB, ESRC and other bodies.
