The conference is organised in association with the AHRB-funded project 'Free-Thinking and Language-Planning in Late Seventeenth Century England', centred on Francis Lodwick. The conference will address methodological and conceptual questions about language-planning in the period, and that discussion will complement current work on Francis Lodwick and his associates.
