Computing Support for Arts, Social Sciences and Humanities Researchers: A Practical Guide
CRASSH, 17 Mill Lane, Cambridge, CB2 1RX
Cambridge researchers who wish to develop their use of computers have a wide range of support resources upon which to draw, but discovering and accessing these services isn't always easy.
This half-day workshop will provide both a 'one stop' guide to the different advice, support and technical services available in Cambridge and an outline of how they link into the wider research funding environment. Speakers will discuss the practical help and advice that's available to researchers throughout the development of a project from the earliest planning stages, through to the application process and the archiving of research output.
Researchers who attend the workshop will come away with a clear view of what services are available and how to access them. The workshop may also be of interest to IT staff who are involved in departmental computing support.
