7 Mar 2005 5:00pm - 7:00pm CRASSH

Description

The history of international exchanges of ideas about taxation is a relatively new field of history. The aim of the workshop is to offer a forum where new approaches and concepts can be discussed and further developed. We are therefore interested in both work in progress and in the results of research already completed. Some meetings will be devoted to presentations of research and others to the discussion of texts about international exchanges of ideas, fiscal theory, and the history of taxation. More information about the research on 'International Exchanges of Ideas about Taxation' can be found on the website of the Centre for History and Economics, King's College, Cambridge.

For further information about the workshop please contact Florian Schui fhws2@cam.ac.uk.

All workshops take place at CRASSH, 17 Mill Lane, Cambridge, 5pm-7pm. All are welcome.
