Description

Professor Geoffrey Crossick, Chief Executive of the AHRB, is making a day visit to the University of Cambridge on Thursday 27 January 2005. During the day he will be meeting with the Vice Chancellor and various academic staff and postgraduate students to discuss the current and future work of the AHRB.

Several sessions are open to those interested and involved in research that may be funded by the AHRB:
11.00-12.30 Presentation about the AHRB
Venue: CRASSH, 17 Mill Lane, Cambridge

Professor Crossick will be discussing the AHRB and the wider issues concerning research in the arts and humanities. Following his presentation there will be a 45 minute question and answer session.
15.30-16.45 Review of some AHRB funded research projects
Venue: Faculty of History, Sidgwick Site

Academic staff and members of Information and Communication Technology Project to give presentations (5-7 minutes) on AHRB funded research.

All academic staff welcome. The session may be of particular interest to those considering applying for AHRB grants
