The American Election
People are talking, and in many different ways, about the 2004 American election. Opinion, analysis, emotion and evidence are mixed together. This conversation will explore the ways in which American politics are talked about, especially within universities. What is at stake? Who can speak with authenticity? What counts as informed opinion, as relevant evidence?
