Description

Dr Michael Majerus (Department of Genetics)

5.30pm at CRASSH, 17 Mill Lane, Cambridge

Michael Majerus is the world's leading authority on peppered moths and an accidental participant in the bizarre controversies of creationists vs. evolutionists over these little creatures. This talk recounts the history of the study of these moths and the accusations and counterclaims of recent years. If you have heard that the peppered moth has been discredited as a paradigm example of evolution by natural selection, you should attend this lively and fascinating talk.

All are welcome

This seminar is presented by The Complete Work of Charles Darwin online at CRASSH, Cambridge University.
