Professor Marilyn Strathern will join her critics in discussion of her 2004 Huxley lecture, 'A Community of Critics? Thoughts on New Knowledge', published in The Journal of the Royal Anthropoloogical Institute 12.1 (March 2006), 191-209.

The discussion will focus on interdisciplinarity, disciplinary innovation, and questions of evaluation. Graduate students doing interdisciplinary research and interested in disciplinary innovation are warmly invited to attend.
