Locating Emerging Technologies
Thursday 9 November 2006
CRASSH, 17 Mill Lane, Cambridge
This workshop will continue the seminar series' exploration of the importance of space in understanding developments in technoscience. In particular, it will address the relationships between emerging technologies and location through focusing on the characteristics of spaces of innovation, the nature of experimental sites and subjects, and the reconfigurations of spatial relations in constructing and enrolling technoscientific futures. The format for the day will be a mix of seminar presentations and open forum discussion.
