Conveners:
Zeynep Gürtin-Broadbent (CFR)
Salim Al-Gailani (HPS)
The purpose of this workshop was to enable CIRF researchers to present our work in an informal and friendly atmosphere, to engage in discussions that can further our thinking, and to receive productive feedback on our current work. Each speaker was allocated a 45-minute slot and was invited to speak for about 20 minutes, followed by 25 minutes discussion.
The format for the presentations was very flexible – speakers might chose to present papers in progress; sections of the PhD; an outline of the overall argument of the PhD; or anything else they wished to discuss. The emphasis was very much on each presenter using this opportunity in the way that was most helpful for them and the development of their work.
Speakers were welcome to invite others to attend their presentations.
