Konstantin Azadovskii (St Petersburg)

A freelance literary historian from St. Petersburg, Dr Konstantin Azadovskii is a member of the editorial boards of Zvezda and Novoe literaturnoe obozrenie, among other journals. Dr Azadovskii is renowned in Russia and abroad for his research into the Western – especially German – reception of Russian literature. For his monographs and articles on Rilke's 'Russian period', on Balmont, Blok, Bely and Kluiev he won a number of international prizes. This event is part of the Contemporary Russian Culture Studies Group Seminar series.

Meetings are held on alternate Wednesdays during term-time, 5pm to 7.00pm at CRASSH.
