Turkay Salim Nefes is a research fellow at the St Antony’s College and Sociology department of the University of Oxford. His research mainly focuses on the socio-political impacts and dissemination of anti-Semitic conspiracy theories in Turkey. Turkay published articles on conspiracy theories in journals such as Historical Journal of Sociology, The Sociological Review, Rationality and Society, and British Journal of Sociology (forthcoming). Currently, he is working on his forthcoming book, Online Anti-Semitism in Turkey, and the conspiratorial rhetoric on the Gezi Park protests.
