About
Dr Thibaud Boncourt is currently Professor of Political Science at Université Jean Moulin Lyon 3 (Lyon, France), researcher at Triangle, and Junior Fellow of the Institut Universitaire de France (IUF). He also co-convenes the programme on ‘Science, knowledge, and academic freedom’ of the France-Quebec Research Chair on Contemporary Issues in Freedom of Expression. He mainly works on the relationship between knowledge and power, the history of the social sciences, political behaviour, and internationalisation dynamics. His current work focuses on scientific practices labelled as deviant, scientific integrity policies, and academic freedom.
Research
During his stay at CRASSH, Thibaud will work on a comparison of research integrity policies in France and the UK. He will consult relevant archives and conduct interviews with actors of research integrity regulations at the national and local level. He will also seek to further develop France – UK collaborations around the topic of academic freedom.
