About

Dr Sandra Brunnegger is College Lecturer and Fellow in Law & Social Anthropology at St Edmund’s College, Cambridge.

At CRASSH, Sandra is working in collaboration with researchers from the Nasa communities, a Thê’wala (Nasa spiritual authority), Nasa artists, and an activist-researcher, who are all based at UAIIN-CRIC, Colombia’s first state-recognised Indigenous university, on the project Nasawe’sx ya’yu’cenxi (Weaving Our Own Justice). The project Nasawe’sx ya’yu’cenxi hopes to contribute to the revitalisation of the justicia propia (own paradigm of justice) of the Sa’th Tama Kiwe Territory in Caldono, Colombia.
