Pascal Girard is a short-term Visiting Fellow to the Conspiracy & Democracy project in Easter term, 2014.

Pascal Girard teaches in Classes Préparatoires aux Grandes Ecoles and lectures on Contemporary History at the University of Reims, France . His research deals with the rise and spread of conspiracy theories from a historical perspective. He defended his thesis on ‘Political Conspiracies in France and Italy from the end of WWII to the late 50s’ at the European University Institute in Florence. Another part of his research focuses on violence in politics in post-war France. He co-edited « Se battre pour des idées. La violence militante en France des années 1920 aux années 1970 » (with François Audigier, 2011).
