Jack is a Research Assistant on the project Expertise Under Pressure. He is working with Co-investigator Professor Michael Kenny on a report into pride of place, one of the pillars of the Government’s levelling-up programme.
Jack has spent his career working with, in and on behalf of local authorities. Prior to joining the London Progression Collaboration, a start-up based at the Institute for Public Policy Research, he was an Advisor at a London local authority as well as a Senior Policy Researcher to the Shadow Minister for Local Government. He has also worked for the Local Government Association – the national body for local authorities in England. His research interests include local government reform, devolution, and the Government’s levelling-up programme.
