About

Amelia O’Halloran is a Digital Humanities MPhil student at the University of Cambridge. Her area of focus is on digital privacy and its effects on intimacy and identity formation.

Prior to attending the University of Cambridge, Amelia was a Digital Business Analyst at McKinsey & Company in New York, working primarily in their Cybersecurity practice; there, she supported companies in the US and Taiwan to augment their customer safety, digital trust, and privacy capabilities.

She graduated with a Bachelors degree in Computer Science, focusing on cybersecurity and technology policy, and East Asian Studies from Brown University. Her undergraduate thesis focused on Artificial Intelligence-enabled intimate privacy abuse.
