Tania Saeed is an Assistant Professor in the Mushtaq Ahmad Gurmani School of Humanities and Social Sciences at the Lahore University of Management Sciences, (LUMS) Pakistan. Saeed has contributed to leading journals and is the author of the book Islamophobia and Securitization. Religion, Ethnicity and the Female Voice (2016, Palgrave Macmillan). She has a DPhil in Education from the University of Oxford where she was a Wingate scholar (2011-2012), and an HEC Pakistan PhD scholar (2008-2011), and an MSc in Gender, Development and Globalization from the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE). Her area of specialization is education and social justice within the context of the UK and Pakistan.
