Hans Ulrich Gumbrecht (Albert Guérard Professor in Literature in the Departments of Comparative Literature and of French & Italian at Stanford University) will give an open lecture. Following  last  year’s  bold  and  incisive  review  of  the   role of the Humanities in the contemporary University, we are excited to welcome Professor Gumbrecht back to deliver the second Annual Lecture of the Cambridge AHRC DTP.
