Dr Rob Waters (University of Birmingham)

For the final session we are going to return back to our local setting, considering Black radicalism in Britain. We are going to consider Britain's Black past, present, and future. Dr Waters is going to lead an interactive session where we will discover the roots of Britain's Black radicalism in the nation's capital, London, playing around with the map of Black London created by Dr Waters. We will use the Black map as a foundation for thinking about forgotten histories, and how recovering these forgotten histories is integral to fostering liberating futures.

Open to all. No registration required.
An event organised by the International Black Radicalism Research Network.
