Building on the existing strengths of Global Food Security at Cambridge, the Global Food Security Initiative is planning two half-day seminars this year with the purpose of engaging members of the University on a number of objectives in global food security research: food landscapes, infectious diseases, plant biology, modelling, political economy of hunger and food supply, land resources and regulatory influences, supply chains and food and health.
The programme for this first half-day seminar will consist of a number of short presentations including short Q&A session by post-docs and PhD students aross the displines who work on areas related to food security issues.
