Summary
Resilience has emerged as a key theme for global climate action and sustainable development. Manifesting across academic and policy discourses, this raises a fundamental issue in defining the concept. To what extent does the idea of ‘resilience’ translate across international, interdisciplinary, and theory/practice borders? What efforts are being lost in translation, and what opportunities for cooperation can be identified? This workshop hence seeks to map and bridge different streams of ‘resilience’-based research and policy.
