12 Jan 2022 - 25 Feb 2022 Open weekdays 09:00-19:00 Alison Richard Building, all floors

Description

This photography exhibition has been created from a call for response and collaboration, triggered by the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic and reflecting on Postcards from Great Britain, a large-scale project by the photography organisation Shutter Hub, which invited photographers to share their visions of British culture through photographic images and create conversations and exchange. Pop-up exhibitions were held in 19 separate locations across Europe, showcasing thousands of postcard-sized images.

In a significant time in history, this exhibition sets out to share aspects of European culture, spanning all genres of photography, and collating images that include social, political, historical, traditional and observational responses.

Alongside Postcards from Europe, a selection of images from Postcards from Great Britain are also exhibited.

The exhibition is open on weekdays from 09:00 – 19:00 and is situated across all floors of the ARB.
