About
Amelia Jabry is an MPhil Candidate in the Sociology of Media and Culture at the University of Cambridge 2020-2021. Her research explores the role of social media within climate change, with particular focus on how ‘green influencers’ and social media algorithms promote or take away from positive environmental change respectively.
She received a BA in Social Anthropology from the London School of Economics and Political Science in 2020 where her dissertation focussed on how social media mediates familial intimacy.
