Yang Liu is a research fellow at the the centre for existential risk (CSER). He holds a PhD in philosophy from Columbia Unviersity where he worked on subjects that are at the intersection of logic and probability. His current interests include philosophy of probability, realistic decision theory, existential risks, and the philosophy and logic of AI.
His work is supported by the Templeton World Charity Foundation as part of the Managing Extreme Technological Risk project at CSER.
