About

Mallika Balakrishnan is an MPhil Candidate in Latin American Studies at the University of Cambridge and a 2019-2021 Marshall Scholar. She holds an MLitt in Moral, Political, and Legal Philosophy from the University of St Andrews & University of Stirling, where her work centred on human rights and power in the Global South. She received a BA in Political Science and Philosophy from Agnes Scott College.

Research

Mallika's research explores the relationship between human rights, democracy, and justice in Latin America and the Caribbean. She researches, campaigns, and organizes with No Tech For Tyrants.
