In recent years, Professors Lijun Jia’s research has mainly focused on the economic growth about the developing countries, including  technical innovation ability, governing the ecological environment, and eliminating poverty in developing countries under the impact of climate change considering  concentrated food production and security in the developing countries

About

Professor Lijun Jia is a Visiting Fellow at CRASSH in Lent Term 2015.

Jia Lijun is  the Vice Dean of the School of Humanities and Social Science, Beijing Institute of Technology, in charge of the international cooperation program of the school and also the Dean of Climate Change and Ecological Economy Research Center, Beijing Institute of Technology.

In recent years, his research has mainly focused on the economic growth about the developing countries, including  technical innovation ability, governing the ecological environment, and eliminating poverty in developing countries under the impact of climate change considering  concentrated food production and security in the developing countries. He has been in charge of two projects with the National Fund, including researching in National Social Science Fund. He has also been involved in  research on the farmers’ agricultural income volatility under the impact of climate change and its effect on food production and security in China ,and has completed National Social Science Fund —the Standards of Rural Poverty-stricken Population and Fiscal Anti-poverty Policy Research. He has  completed three projects of Beijing Social Science Fund and Beijing Natural Science Foundation, and has published two monographs and  also published more than 20 papers on Domestic core journals in China.
