Dr Mark Turin directs the World Oral Literature Project (based at the University Museum of Archaeology and Anthropology) and the Digital Himalaya Project (based at the Department of Social Anthropology). He teaches and writes on linguistic anthropology, multimedia field methods and visual ethnography.  He is also part of the Digital Humanities steering group at CRASSH.
