Core Programmes

CRASSH support revolves around three core programmes: Graduate/Faculty groups; fellowships and conferences.

Our Graduate and Faculty programmes support students and faculty working together around a shared interdisciplinary research interest. The groups act as a barometer for disciplinary development and curriculum change.

CRASSH Fellowships allow a community of scholars – from postdoctoral and early career researchers to more established visiting fellows – to interact at the heart of a vibrant interdisciplinary research environment. Our Mellon sponsored Teaching Fellowships are an exciting new addition to this programme area.

The conference support programme is a highly valued, flagship activity for the Centre which functions as a showcase for arts, social sciences and humanities research in action. It provides the opportunity for Cambridge scholars to broker exciting collaborations, locally and internationally.

See reviews of past conferences and search for those upcoming in our What's On section. Furthermore, an increasing number of conference papers and lectures from visiting speakers are being digitally archived in our Media Gallery.

There are a number of funding opportunities related to our core programmes.
