Dr Antje du Bois-Pedain (University of Cambridge)

Dr Antje du Bois-Pedain is a University Lecturer in Law and a Fellow of Magdalene College, Cambridge. Her research focuses on criminal law, transitional justice, legal theory and medical law. In 2008 she founded the Cambridge Transitional Justice Research Network (www://ctjrn.law.cam.ac.uk/). Her work on the implementation of South Africa's conditional amnesty scheme for politically motivated offenders ("Transitional Amnesty in South Africa", Cambridge University Press, 2007) has drawn her attention to ways in which legal accountability mechanisms and personal narratives and representations of trauma interact.
