CRASSH

We are delighted to announce that registration for this seminar is now open. For the seminar to work effectively, participants must be prepared to read the set materials and to contribute frequently, be it in the form of presentations or in the general discussion.

We would like to invite interested PhD students to submit, via email (to Alyce Mahon and Martin Crowley), a one -page application, addressing the following points:

•    a brief statement of your research, including the title of your PhD and the name of your supervisor;
•   a brief statement of what you hope to get out of the seminar, including an indication of what the likely     benefits to your research may be;
•    a brief statement of what you hope to be able to contribute to the seminar.  
  

Numbers will be limited to a maximum of 15. Graduate students for degrees other than the PhD will be put on a waiting list and will only be considered if numbers permit. The deadline for applications is midday on 5 October 2009. A preliminary reading list will be made available via email to participants shortly after that date.

The seminar will take place on Mondays, 10:00-12:00, at CRASSH.
