The second workshop of Giving Voice to Digital Democracies, a research project at the Centre for the Humanities and Social Change, considered the social impact of Artificially Intelligent Communications Technology. Specifically, the talks and discussions concentrated on different aspects of the complex relationships between language, gender and technology.
Stefanie Ullmann, a Research Associate on the project, delivered a paper on 'A Corpus-Based Analysis of the Linguistic Gender Gap'.
