This conference aims to create a platform for early career researchers and PhD candidates to present their new approaches to dress history in relation to visual culture, within an interdisciplinary framework. With contributions from scholars working in a range of fields both in the United Kingdom and abroad, this conference aims to encourage innovative researchers in the early stages of their career, whilst allowing for exchanges and interactions between scholars at various stages in their careers. Bearing in mind the geographic spread of courts across Europe, the conference will strive to include speakers working on transnational topics.
