Lars Maagerø (Norwegian Theatre Director, University of Kent)

Bio

A Norwegian theatre director, Lars Harald Maagerø has just completed a Phd that looks at how the canonical plays of Shakespeare, Ibsen and Brecht perform cultural status in England, Norway and Germany, particularly how they afford opportunities for directors to comment politically on the state of the nation.

Lars Harald Maagerø is a Norwegian freelance theatre director and a PhD-student at the University of Kent. He did his undergraduate studies in Theatre Studies at the University of Bergen, Norway and McGill University, Montreal, Canada.
