Councils in perspective: A colloquium on Current Projects and New Methodologies in the Research of Late-Antique Christian Synods

This colloquium will provide an informal and friendly platform for scholars and students interested in late-antique, early medieval and Byzantine councils to exchange ideas freely about synodical procedure and decision-making, the redaction of proceedings and historiographies, norms and legislations related to synods and councils.

All are welcome to attend the whole day or only parts of it, but since places are limited, and to help with catering arrangements for refreshments and a light lunch, we ask that you register in advance by emailing Luise Marion Frenkel lmf34@cam.ac.uk
