3 Jun 2019 1:15pm - 3:15pm Different week: Seminar Room SG1, Alison Richard Building, 7 West Road, Cambridge, CB3 9DT

Description

The Open IP Research Network aims to put forward a nuanced and rich perspective on the potential impact of Open IP and to advance an interdisciplinary research agenda on the topic. This interactive, facilitated session will guide the group through generating open research questions that have arisen through over five terms of meetings and particularly on the topics discussed 2018-19 including i) how open approaches to intellectual property might challenge classical economics and political thought; ii) the values and motivations that drive individuals, firms and institutions to select a particular strategy for sharing knowledge and iii) policy choices relevant to Open IP that can shape the impact of emerging technologies on society.

All those with an interest in pursuing research related to Open IP are welcome and invited to attend.

Open to all.  No registration required.
